Dealing with light scratches
We mix our own poly oil finish. This is a mixture of boiled linseed oil, raw tung oil, and polyurethane varnish. This oil finish penetrates deep into the wood and is not merely a surface finish. The resulting finish is highly resistant to scuffing and abrasion and is easily repaired by rubbing in more oil or paste wax with an abrasive pad.
Regular maintenance of your solid slab table will require little more than an occasional application of paste wax. This should only be applied in a thin layer and buffed clean with a soft dry rag.
On veneered pieces we use a sprayed conversion varnish. Chosen for its hardness and protective qualities, it is the only spray finish we currently use.

Thanks for the tip! Although I don't own any of your furniture I wasn't sure what to do with some scratches on my own... I tried out your tips and it WORKED! Thank you.
