This is a mixture of boiled linseed oil, raw tung oil, and polyurethane varnish. This oil finish penetrates deep into the wood and is not merely a surface finish. The resulting finish is highly resistant to scuffing and abrasion and is easily repaired by rubbing in more oil or paste wax with an abrasive pad.</p>
<p>Regular maintenance of your solid slab table will require little more than an occasional application of paste wax. This should only be applied in a thin layer and buffed clean with a soft dry rag.</p>
<p>On veneered pieces we use a sprayed conversion varnish. Chosen for its hardness and protective qualities, it is the only spray finish we currently use.&nbsp;</p>]]></content></entry></feed>
